West Virginia University - School of Medicine (Morgantown)
WVU's School of Medicine offers two majors for students interested in occupational therapy. Students at WVU also have the opportunity to earn their Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degrees in occupational therapy, as well. In addition, ROTC programs are also available. The cost of tuition is above average and the student body is made up of at least 28,900 students.
The program integrates the WVU School of Medicine's Divisions of Exercise Physiology and Physical Therapy, which provides expanded opportunities and resources for OT students at WVU. The Occupational Therapy Program was founded in May of 1999 and since that time; the program has had more than 350 graduates. Those hoping to be enrolled in this program should apply between November 15th and February 15th to begin classes in June. While the WVU Division does not offer an online program, a distance education program is in the works.
Mountain State University (Beckley)
MSU in Beckley offers OT students the opportunity to earn their Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Tuition rates are lower than average and affordable housing is also available, on campus. More than 5,200 students are enrolled at MSU.
Fairmont State University (Fairmont)
