It is not difficult to find an occupational therapist in the state of Massachusetts. The most difficult part of the process may be deciding exactly what characteristics, skills and experiences you want your therapist to possess. While most occupational therapist have the same training foundation, all training program are not created equal and thus some therapist have more training or expertise in one discipline and less in another. The community is filled with an eclectic mix of individuals and has a wide selection of restaurants, bars and other night life.

Residents in the Boston area will find an even larger pool of therapist from which to choose. There are many therapist attached to the various hospital and medical center in the Boston Metro region, and there are also private occupational therapy professionals and assistants working in this area. Many therapists are attracted to the cultural outlets offered by Boston. The city is home to a large number of museums and art galleries. Theater in the city is some of the finest in the country.

Boston is also home to one of the best known sports teams in the country, the Boston Red Sox. The team spent years playing second fiddle to baseball's elite teams before finally breaking the curse and winning a title. While the Sox may be the states favorite franchise, the other sports teams including the Celtics, Bruins and Patriots are also well supported.
